Work It, Bloggers: Aimee of Song of Style

After meeting up with Erin of Calivintage in Oakland, I made my way back over to San Francisco to meet up with Aimee of Song of Style. Aimee's blog is one of those blogs that easily puts you in a good mood. Her outfit posts border editorial quality and her wardrobe of shorts, dresses, and wedges would make most jealous. She also posts images from her favorite editorials, my favorite of which featured print overload. She brought her adorable dog Charcoal along for the meet up. If only I were a dog person..

Work It, Bloggers: Erin of Calivintage

A few days ago, I headed over to Oakland to meet up with Erin of Calivintage. If you're a vintage fiend, Erin's blog is definitely a must-read. In her outfit posts, she mixes vintage and thrifted items with clothes from more popular stores like J. Crew and American Apparel (see exhibits A and B). Her blog isn't limited to just outfit posts though: it also features her outfit favorites, collection reviews, vintage photographs, and a cycle chic series I particularly enjoy. After checking out these photos, be sure to give her blog a read!

Shabby Apple Giveaway

All images courtesy of Shabby Apple.

I'm teaming up with Shabby Apple for our first giveaway! Shabby Apple is an online store that sells tons of amazing dresses and accessories that are definitely worth drooling over. We're giving away a dress, apron, or swimsuit of choice to one lucky reader. Here's how to enter:

1. Go to Shabby Apple's website and pick out your item.
2. Post a comment on this post with a) the link to the item, b) an answer to the question, "What would you wear this with?", and c) your email address.
3. If you're on Twitter, retweet this message: I just entered the Shabby Apple Giveaway on the @workitberk street style blog. Have you? Enter here: http://bit.ly/10MLyI

The last day to enter the giveaway is August 22. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator and will be notified on August 23. This is restricted to US residents.

Edit: Three comments were mistakingly not published, but will be included in the drawing. They are from Jackie C. (#17), Rebecca (#18), and LyddieGal (#19). Submission #20 begins with Melissa. The winner will be chosen with these additions included.

Edit 2: By mistake, I said we were giving away any item of choice. We're just giving away any dress, apron, or swimsuit of choice. If you're the winner and have chosen another item, you'll win an item of your choosing that fits these categories instead. Sorry for the change!

Work It, Bloggers: Christina of Profresh Style

After a short stint in San Francisco, the Work It, Bloggers series continues in Berkeley with Christina of Profresh Style. There are two things in this photo that definitely sum up her blog: an excellent collection of wedges (see exhibits A, B, and C) and priceless facial features (see her latest video).

Besides maintaining her blog, Christina recently became the owner of Riki, a Vine Street boutique in North Berkeley that sells stylish European-inspired women's wear. Follow Christina's blog for updates on the store's grand opening.
