What’s your name? Where do you live? What do you do?
My name is Sirin Isik! I am a fashion blogger and an online marketing advertising specialist from San Francisco.
How did you get into blogging?
All my life has been evolving around the fashion industry since I was a kid. After moving to the US from Turkey, I started working with fashion companies. After everyone kept asking about my clothing, I decided to start sharing my style on my blog. That’s when I created Sweetness of Fashion.
How would you describe your style?
I prefer simple looks with a sweet touch, as I always add accessories to make my look more glamorous.
Do you have any style icons or inspirations?
My fashion icon is most definitely Iris Apfel, as her style is so unique.
What do you like the most about blogging?
What fascinates me about blogging is hearing from my followers how I help inspire their daily life. Sometimes pieces just get lost in their closet and through my blog they start to love wearing and combining them with other pieces again, to create a complete new look. It makes me super happy when I am getting awesome feedback for my blog posts from my followers!
What have you learned from blogging?
Blogging also taught me, how to become a strong woman. It completes my daily life and pushes me to be more creative, and to enjoy what I like to do.
What do you do when you’re not blogging?
When I’m not blogging, I am working as an online marketer with a start up company. I like to work out, explore new places and to spend my time in my kitchen spoiling my loved ones.
What can we expect to see from you in the future?
In the future, I want to be a brand name for one of my favorite companies.
