Red Velvet Pancakes with cream cheese butter and maple syrup
When we stopped by Fleur at the Mandalay Bay resort for brunch, we ordered the Carnitas Hash and the Red Velvet Pancakes.
The Carnitas Hash came with roasted pork, fingerling potatoes, tomatillo salsa, and poached eggs, while the Red Velvet Pancakes came with cream cheese butter and maple syrup. They were both pretty good. The carnitas was paired well with the potatoes and poached eggs. The dish was enhanced by the tomatillo salsa. The pancakes were sweet but not overtly so. Trying a bit of both dishes was a good balance of sweet and savory.
