Grits Waffle with Fried Chicken
I finally visited Aunt Mary’s Café, a popular spot for Southern comfort food on Telegraph and 47th in Temescal, a few weeks ago for brunch.
I tried the Grits Waffle with Fried Chicken and maple-flavored syrup. I've never had a grits waffle before so it was quite interesting. It kind of crumbles under your fork. The two pieces of chicken were massive and I was able to enjoy this for two meals.
Although the wait was as long as expected, as you can tell from this photo, it was worth it. If you've visited Aunt Mary’s Café recently, what do you recommend trying?
