Eat in San Francisco: Brickhouse Café

The Frenchy with a fried egg, pancetta, swiss, and chipotle aioli, served with sweet potato fries

The SoMa with swiss, caramelized onion, wild mushrooms, and avocado, served with a salad

Before attending the Academy of Art University Graduation Fashion Show last Thursday, we stopped by Brickhouse Café in SoMa on Brannan near 3rd for a bite to eat. I ordered The Frenchy, which came with all the bougie fixin's I want in a burger, including a fried egg, pancetta, swiss, and chipotle aioli.

The burger was pretty good. It's made with high-quality Angus beef and all the toppings complemented each other well. I sliced the monster of a burger into two and scrunched it down into a Brittany-sized portion, letting the egg yolk make its glorious debut. I would definitely recommend trying the sweet potato fries, which were fried to perfection.

For someone who doesn't really like burgers, The Frenchy was quite satisfying. Go meat...?
