Eat in Los Angeles: Eggslut

Egg Salad sandwich with hard-cooked eggs, chives, honey mustard aioli, and dressed arugula on a Portuguese bun

After learning about Eggslut from one of my favorite bloggers, Christina of Profresh Style, I stopped by their shop last week. Located inside Grand Central Market on Broadway and 3rd in Downtown Los Angeles, Eggslut offers a variety of sandwiches, burgers, and sides served with―you guessed it―eggs.

I tried the Egg Salad sandwich made with hard-cooked eggs, chives, honey mustard aioli, and dressed arugula on a Portuguese bun. This is basically a traditional egg salad with more of a kick. The heartiness of the egg salad was complemented by the tangy dressed arugula. All of the flavors fused to create an interesting sandwich I would definitely order again.

The next time I visit I'll order the Fairfax, which is composed of soft scrambled eggs, chives, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, and Sriracha mayo in a Portuguese bun.

Have you visited Eggslut or Grand Central Market?
