I visited Hofkuche, a beer garden located on 25th between Telegraph and Broadway, for the first time this weekend.
We tried a few different dishes, starting with a pretzel with Obatzda, a combination of Bavarian cheese and butter. Then we had the vibrant Little Gem Salad, which was light and very fresh. The main entrees were the Käsespätzle—a homey, cheesy pasta dish—and the frankfurter sausage with a side of sauerkraut and mustard. Overall, everything was well-made and perfect for a cloudy weekend day. They have a pretty large patio area with a lot of space between tables to enjoy German food and beer.
