I cannot believe I almost passed by this guy! Dressed in head-to-toe designer labels, he combines a crisp plaid button-up and denim jeans with a carefully-chosen slew of assessories, including a thin belt, sleek watch, and shiny high-tops.


Look at a close-up of these shoes! Gold magnificence is what this is. I sincerely regret not asking him where these beauties came from. Readers, any clues?

Mandy--a WorkItBerk reader--gave me an idea a couple of posts ago. To allow my readers to submit photos of fashionable people they spot in Berkeley for the WorkItBerk blog! A great idea (Mandy, thank you very much!) but not without some guidelines, of course..

7/7/09: Pants to Poverty's Bad Pants Amnesty on Sproul Plaza

Back from the grave with a new post! (Err, sorta a new post.)

Last month, the fabulous people at Pants to Poverty led what they called a "Bad Pants Amnesty" to spread awareness about the chemicals in underwear (who knew?!) at UC Berkeley's own Sproul Plaza. As a part of this amnesty, they gave out free underwear to all the participants that took a photo in PtoP's signature undergarments.

Check out these photos from the event. Don't worry: there are certainly no unflattering sweatshirts worn here.
