Eat in Oakland: Pizzaiolo

Breakfast Sandwich with a poached egg, La Quercia speck, cheese, braised greens, and Calabrian chili butter

This weekend I caught up with a friend over breakfast at Pizzaiolo, an Italian restaurant in Temescal. I ordered a latte and the Breakfast Sandwich made with a poached egg, La Quercia speck, cheese, braised greens, and Calabrian chili butter. Both were pretty good. The egg provided some protein while the chili butter added a nice kick.

I've also tried Pizzaiolo for a dinner of salad and pizza that was also quite good. If you've visited Pizzaiolo recently, what did you try?
