I didn't realize this would be a goodbye post when I started it. According to Yelp, SurfJack Shop — a combined coffee shop and clothing store located on Lewers and Manukai inside the Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club in Waikiki — is now closed.
When my dining companion and I stopped by for coffee in late September, we tried our usual latte and flat white. Both were impeccably made; the barista was clearly an expert. Along with the stellar coffee, this shop sold a variety of sleek, design-forward clothing and other things worth perusing while waiting for your coffee.
I would have made it a point to visit again the next time I'm in the area. Dang!
