After having dinner at Volcano Curry of Japan last April, our group made our way next door to Joe’s Ice Cream & Burgers for dessert. Located on Geary at 19th, Joe's serves a variety of ice cream flavors, like Dalgona Coffee, Maple Nut, and Sweet Red Bean, as well as burgers, fries, and other savory foods.
I tried a cup of the Black Sesame ice cream, while my dining companion had the Mint Oreo. As a big fan of black sesame, I remember enjoying the flavor a lot and thinking it was very creamy.
I would definitely stop by again to try some more ice cream, like the Salted Caramel, Earl Grey, or Mango. If I'm craving something saltier, I may order the Tokkochi or Gochujang Fries.
