Eat in San Francisco: Beretta

Pear pizza with pancetta, gorgonzola, and caramelized onions

This weekend I stopped by Beretta, a delicious Italian restaurant on Valencia and 23rd in the Mission, for the second time while catching up with friends.

We ordered two pizzas (the Spicy Marinara for the dairy-free and the Pear for the dairy fiends), along with a side of fried calamari. Everything was incredible. The Pear pizza was my favorite. It was topped with pancetta, gorgonzola, and caramelized onions; all of the flavors complemented each other nicely.

Along with the incredible food, Beretta has a sleek interior and serves great cocktails at the bar.
