I'm surprised I haven't made a post about TrueBurger, a local burger spot on Broadway and 41st in North Oakland, before.
I've been going to their Grand location for years, usually ordering the Mushroom Burger. Although I'm not one for burgers, I do love a veggie burger. Theirs is made with a crispy portobello mushroom stuffed with smoked mozzarella cheese that bursts open in your mouth (this is a warning!). My dining companion seemed to enjoy his Bacon Cheesy TrueBurger as well. We both loved the fries' garlicky goodness.
