What’s your position/contribution to the magazine?
I'm the Events Director with Lyka Sethi. I helped plan BAREing it All: Copyrighting Fashion and Changing Fashion: The Internet and Blogging. I'm also organizing the launch party, so you should definitely come because it's going to be a blast.

What are you most excited about the new issue?
The cover, it's amazing!!

What are you planning on wearing to the BARE Launch Party?
I'm still not 100% sure, but last year I wore sequins and I want to keep the sparkly tradition going, so I will definitely be wearing something that shines.

Work It, BARE: Julia Joung

I've got good news -- the Work It, BARE series, which features members of BARE Magazine, is back! Let's start off the series with Julia Joung..

What’s your position/contribution to the magazine?

Production Lead for blog photo shoot Candy, and Blog reporter

What are you most excited about the new issue?
I'm most excited to celebrate the completion and hard work with the rest of the staff members at the launch party as well as show off the new issue to all of the magazine's supporters! Specifically I can't wait to see all the beautiful photo shoots of the creative team!

What are you planning on wearing to the BARE Launch Party?

I'm not too sure yet, I can never pick an outfit too long before I'm going to wear it because I always end of changing it! I have commitment issues...

What are you most excited about the runway show?
While I'm curious to see how designers interpret their fears as a collection, I'm really excited about the music they pick to compliment their collection. I firmly believe that the soundtrack a designer chooses makes a big impact on how spectators receive his or her collection.

What are you most excited about the runway show?
I'm most excited about seeing the amazing creativity the FAST designers exhibit. It is always very inspiring to see college students produce runway collections while juggling a regular course load.

What are you most excited about the runway show?
I am actually most excited about watching the show come together. I know it sounds cliche, but I love seeing the runway set up, models running around in hair and makeup, and models working it down the runway. I love seeing my girls strut what I make and the responses I get from people after the show. Everyone is so supportive!

What are you most excited about the runway show?
I'm super excited about actually seeing my clothes out on the runway because this is my first time designing for FAST. I've never done it before, and for me it's analogous to watching one's children grow up. That sounds strange, but that's really how excited I am!

What are you most excited about the runway show?
I have modeled for FAST the past few years and I like runway shows because it shows off the creativeness of the designers. I think it is fun walking in front of all those people and showing off various outfits.

I'm really excited to see the different designs -- I'm totally in the dark right now about what looks I'll be modeling and the anticipation is killing me! I'm also modeling for the first time ever, and I can't wait to get out on the runway.

I can't wait to see what the designers have put together for the show. Our theme, "Conquer: Live in Style Not Fear," really allows for so much creativity - it's going to be quite an experience to see (and wear!) different manifestations of fear.

Work It, FAST: Kacey Anderson

As promised on Twitter and Facebook, I have started a new blog series! Like the series I did previously with members of BARE Magazine, Work It, FAST highlights the personal styles of the people behind Fashion and Student Trends (FAST), UC Berkeley's entirely student-run fashion organization. FAST puts on a spectacular fashion show at the end of each semester with designs made and modeled by students. This semester's show is titled Conquer: Live in Style, Not Fear. Expect to see at least seven more posts in the series in the next few weeks.

What are you most excited about the runway show?
I am so excited to see all of the designers' pieces. We have all come up with extremely different and rare fears to inspire our collections. I think that they will really translate well into fashion and look amazing on the runway!
