Work It, BARE: Tanya Sanderson

What’s your position/contribution to the magazine?

I am on Creative and help style/produce photoshoots for the magazine. I am also on the Events team so I help organize all events connected to BARE.

What are you most excited about the new issue?

The new issue has some really rad shoots from 3D to textiles. I can’t wait to see the transformation from our ideas on paper to the actual photographs. Seeing our models and ideas in print is the cherry on top of much hard work and a bit of fun!

What are you planning on wearing to the BARE Launch Party?

What will I be wearing? Probably a black cut out dress that I got in London.. maybe some new shoes J

Work It, FAST: Sherrie

What's your position/contribution to FAST (designer, model, PR, show committee, etc)?

What are you most excited about the runway show?
I'm super excited about actually seeing my clothes out on the runway because this is my first time designing for FAST. I've never done it before, and for me it's analogous to watching one's children grow up. That sounds strange, but that's really how excited I am!

MY MOTIVATION

MELROSE & ORLANDO

Like the namesake batteries for the Energizer bunny, this photo is what kept me going. It gave me the motivation I needed to keep going out to take photos, despite the relative emptiness of LA streets during the middle of the day. That said, I love how everything in her outfit looks so deliberate.

Don't worry, you don't need to rush over to your OD, asking him to check your eyesight: this girl was actually spotted in Berkeley. (See Sather Gate in the background?) As was her animal-print patterned fur coat. I'd say that seeing such beautiful outerwear is almost worth the chilly winter weather.. almost.

Khaki, sunshine yellow, black, and charcoal gray collide in this flow-y, yet sleek ensemble. Topped off with an intertwining bracelet, there is little difference between this girl's outfit and that of a model who just stomped off the catwalk.

Whether you’re going out for a night on the town with the girls or even a romantic date, every girl needs a little fashion jewelry to accessorize her ensemble. Adding jewelry to your outfit can help create your own unique look rather than be a Plain Jane. Go ahead and take a risk and convey your sense of style!
