I live in Palo Alto and I am Senior Marketing Manager at Google.
How would you describe your style?
I would say my style is quite feminine: skirts and dresses, heels and blouses, with definitely a lot of French accessories like shoes, purses or scarves from Paris. It varies with my mood!
I found that living in California gave me a lot of freedom to experiment with my style and that my work environment is super open and non-judgmental. I have more creative confidence that I can express in my outfits, like wearing an organza skirt on Monday, ending the week with a basic cotton sweater or adding a little hat for the chilly mornings.
I love graphic design, patterns and mixing textures.

What's your typical work outfit look like?
Straight pants, blouse and leather jacket or a dress with high boots. I almost always add a scarf, for style and comfort. I alternate between two generous purses, a brown and a yellow one, big enough to carry everything I need‒and even things I don't really need :).
How do you upgrade a typical work outfit?
With makeup‒a little darker eyes, more colorful lips‒and more elegant jewelry, like beautiful pendant earrings or a statement necklace. It is a simple way to take a basic outfit to an evening one!
What brands do you like in particular?
Comptoir Des Cotonniers, Maje, Agnès B., DVF, Chloé, Chanel and the textiles from Marimekko.
For the Fashion lovers, I can also recommend some good reading and videos:

For the Fashion lovers, I can also recommend some good reading and videos:
- The Woman I Wanted to Be by Diane von Fürstenberg: A great biography and a lot of quotes to remember. Some of my favorites include:
- “You're always with yourself, so you might as well enjoy the company.”
- “I didn't know what I wanted to do, but I always knew the woman I wanted to be.”
- She also gave a wonderful Talk At Google.
- Empress of Fashion: A Life of Diana Vreeland by Amanda Mackenzie Stuart: An incredible destiny and a strong character, she dreamt THE‒ideal‒GIRL and shaped herself to become that girl. She discovered great models‒including Lauren Bacall‒and collaborated with some of the most amazing photographers like Richard Avedon. An overview from CNN can be found here.
- The Vogue Factor: The Inside Story of Fashion’s Most Illustrious Magazine by Kirstie Clements, ex-editor from Vogue Australia, unveils life at the magazine and takes us through epic photo shoots.
- The February issue of Elle features a great photo shoot with Nicolas Ghesquière. Happy fashion!

Work It, Google: Marion Creusat

What do you do at Google?
I am a Strategic Partner Development Manager doing Business Development for New Ad Formats. In short, I sign partnership deals to make awesome Google ad products. It's a lot of fun!
How would you describe your style?
Hard to tell. I am French and my style is probably what you would call here "Parisian chic". We call it "classic" in France. I wear good basics, have a "capsule" wardrobe (i.e. a collection of coordinating clothes that can be used in any outfit for any occasion), quality is definitely better than quantity and I always keep it simple (sometimes except for the shoes). Inès de La Fressange, Farida Khelfa, Clémence Poésy and Marion Cotillard are my style icons!
What's your typical work outfit look like?
My typical work outfit is actually my typical outfit full point. It is almost like a uniform: a pair of jeans with a high-end material top and high heel shoes. If required, I add a fitted jacket.
Sometimes I make an exception and wear a dress. I love dresses but they are not the most practical when you have young kids. My dresses are always plain and often dark (black, blue, grey). The most important here is the shape.
Beautiful materials and a shape that enhances the body are my only criteria. I never wear t-shirts as they hardly enhance anybody. Although, I may admit some exceptions for exceptional people!
I am also a firm believer in accessories. Depending on the mood of the day, shoes, scarf and jewelry may vary. The rest doesn't change.

With designer stiletto shoes and a piece of big jewelry or a beautiful scarf.
