FAST's Spring 2011 Fashion Show

As mentioned previously, I was invited to cover Fashion and Student Trends' spring 2011 runway show that was held this past Sunday. What are you most excited about the runway show?

I always look forward to seeing pieces where the craftsmanship just floors you. I've seen so many outfits in past shows that I can't even begin to imagine how the designer made them. I also really love to find out what song each designer chooses to go with their line. I think that's an aspect of the show that isn't emphasized too much but yet really adds a key element to the presentation of a designer's line.

What are you most excited about the runway show?

I am working with the same designers that I did in the fall semester. I am really excited to see their work evolve and hopefully I will be able to bring their works of art to life on the runway. I love the fierceness and fabulosity both the male and female models bring to the runway each time. The theme, EXPOSE, is definitely up to interpretation and I am so excited to just see how everything ties together on the big night!

What are you most excited about the runway show?

I've seen a few sneak peeks from designers and I can't wait to see all the finished pieces come down the runway. I also hope that PR committee's hard work will help bring in the crowds! As a model, I'm excited to be walking for two collections this semester!

I'm excited to see the hard work of everyone in FAST coming to life on one special night! This is my first semester in FAST, but I'm already so in love with what we do. Although I'm sad that the fourth-years of our E-Board will be graduating, I hope they still attend future shows!

As mentioned on Twitter, last night I attended the fall runway show hosted by Fashion and Student Trends (FAST), UC Berkeley's student-run fashion organization. What's your position/contribution to FAST (designer, model, PR, show committee, etc)?

Public Relations Director

What are you most excited about the runway show?
While I'm curious to see how designers interpret their fears as a collection, I'm really excited about the music they pick to compliment their collection. I firmly believe that the soundtrack a designer chooses makes a big impact on how spectators receive his or her collection.
